My brother in law uses a great app called BabelFish for Android but I do not see it for iOS. What is the best translation app we have (would be for mainly spanish)?

Google Translate

If I were you, I would't use a translator app and just go onto Safari and use Google Translate. There is a really nice mobile site, which is easy to use and I find the translations to be the best. They are accurate and how the locals would say it. Works for all my French homework brilliantly!

That's awesome but what about translating spoken word?

try

google have brought out their translation app it works pretty good for translating the odd word or too but if your looking at a substantial translation for things like legal doccuments or medical journals then your probably going to have to consider going through a translation serivce company such as
rosetta translations
