Best Linux driver for trackpad

Hello,

I have installed on my Air (2010) on a usb fedora core 18 and they are running very good except the occasional delays due to loading from the usb 2.0.
The drier support and everything works great but i am a bit let down by the trackpad. When it registers another finger on the trakpads surface it stops instantly moving and feels like something wrong. Are there any better drivers supporting behavior similar to the MacOS?
