Hey guys, I was just wondering which live blog site would be the best to be on during the event. Which live blogs, in your opinion, have given you the best & fastest information in previous events? I will be in class, I will be using my iPhone, so it has to be a mobile-friendly site as well. Any suggestions will help, thanks.

http://www.engadget.com/

They do great live blogs at events. It's not up yet (obviously) but do check back on like Oct 3rd and they'll have a page for the live blog.

I usually read MacRumors and Engadget. MR has better/faster text updates, while Engadget provides good pictures.

thisismynext FTW! ('The Verge' soon)

This site is solid too though.

All I can really say is stay away from Gizmodo for your coverage if you know what's good for you ;)

I run MR and engadget at the same time. MR for fast text updates and engadget for pretty pictures if I want to see what it is about.

I've done pretty much all of them for Apple events and no one does it better than Engadget. I also use BGR and a couple of others just for extra images.

gdgt used to dish out the best updates/photos.

not sure if they've been doing liveblogs as of recent though..

A quick look at the front page, Yes it is a fact.

Apple Issues Invitations for October 4th iPhone Media Event

As to the original question,

I like Thisismynext or gdgt (if they got invited this time around).

Thanks man, my English is not that well. I would have thought Macrumours put it in like capital letters with something like Finally instead of a calm Apple issues inovvations.

But thanks again for your answer man.

+1 for Engadget, I use them primarily, because I'm generally in class during the keynote and just need to see pictures, then I go watch the keynote to learn the rest.

And of course I have to avoid my RSS reader until I've learned everything I feel like I need to!

For the people recommending Engadget, how have their Live Blogging of Events been since the core team moved over to Thisismynext?

Once Joshua, Niley, Paul and others moved to a new site I have stopped following Engadget, so I'm curious.

huh? that happened early this year. not too long ago there bud.

a live blog is a live blog, shouldn't matter if Josh and co are there or not.

engadget does a fine job liveblogging, and have become less Apple fanboys since those guys left.

I usually have windows up for CNet, Engadget, and live.twit.tv. I may or may not have other windows open if I am bored.

I'll be in class too, so I'd use Justin TV app, there's always somebody broadcasting the event...
