best logitech mouse for mbp

I want to get a logitech mouse for my mbp. I already tried the v270 because it matches the laptop well, but it was so bad with tracking. I am thinking about the g7 because it seems pretty good and is cheap on buy.com. Let me know what you think.

Also, what is a "dongle"?

Hopefully apple comes out with a cool bluetooth soon.
