Best Mac App/Program for Hotmail

Looking for feedback on what's currently the best app or program to use with a Hotmail account.

I know people will say switch to Gmail and I do have a Gmail account, but I still have a Hotmail account that receives lots of mail as well, however I LOATHE the Hotmail web interface.

I'm not too concerned with folders and such, just something that plays well with Hotmail and allows me to check, send, and receive emails without having to go through the Hotmail web interface.

Have been doing a bit of research and AirMail and Thunderbird look like they may be options? Any other opinions?

Why don't you use your email account via IMAP protocol?

Un-check -Place a copy in the server option- if you don't want to sent duplicates to your recipients.

Give Googlemail a try, I use Sparrow from the Apps store. I use it on my MBP and Mac Pro.
