using it to pair with my 34" ultrawide monitor. appreciate suggestions, please. thanks
 
You gotta tell us more about your needs for a dock. Otherwise, a simple, high quality USB-C to DisplayPort cable from a company like Cable Matters is a better option.
 
Yeah, like what machine do you actually have? I use an OWC TB2 dock with my 2015 MBA.. Hard to find.. A newer machine would most likely use USB-C/TB3?
