Best Macbook Monitors (Ultra Wide Screen?)

Hi Guys, I have the 2016 MacBook and looking for a decent monitor to go with it. Having a look at google I can see the H277U Acer and LG 27UD88 but I like the look of Ultrawide Screens.

Has anyone hooked their MacBooks up to an Ultrawide Screen monitor? What is the performance like? Not going to be doing any gaming, just word, spreadsheets, trading and youtube.
