Best Macbook Pro deal during the Thanksgiving/Cyber Monday sale?

Where can I find the best deal for a entry level 13" Macbook Pro during the Thanksgiving/Cyber Monday sales the next couple of days? Any chance I could get one below $1000?

Their site says the entry level Macbook Pro is only available in-store. If I buy it in-store will they charge me sales tax? I am in California, so that can be quite a bit. Any chance I could order it over the phone and pick up in store without paying sales tax?

Best Buy has the late '11 i5 2.4ghz for $1049. The Microcenter deal is on the early '11 2.3ghz model.

If you cannot avoid the California sales tax Amazon may be your best bet. Today its price has been as low as $1050, but it fluctuates during the day... And it's for the current model.

The online Apple Store has had refurbs of the previous model for $929, but availability varies.

Agree. It's $1049 shipped right now. Go get it. You can always return it if you found a better deal, which I doubt you would.

Micro Center $999 model is the 2/2011 model. Will cost more with tax.

i got that one as a brand new but open box unit at BB for $800. what a deal!
