best machine for second life?

My sister wants to upgrade her current Pismo to something that'll run second life ok. she was thinking of an iBook G4 with a decent spec. But looking at ebay prices, I was thinking of suggesting she stretch to an early macbook.

but reading about the integrated graphics performance got me wondering whether the 'proper' graphics chip in the G4 might actually be better.

So, if the primary reason is to run second life, what would you suggest? G4 ibook, early intel macbook with intel 950, later macbook with X3100?

macbook pro and desktops are not in the equation

BTW, depending on the difference in performance, I might be able to get her to run bootcamp if the drivers are that much better, or VMware

all options are open, providing its in the macbook/ibook consumer line of laptop macs.
