Best Marketplace for used Macbook?

Since I'm new to Macrumors and not eligible for this marketplace, what is the best marketplace for affordable/reliable used Macbooks? I've looked on eBay and there are some great deals, but I have absolutely no idea which ones to trust. thanks, JED

I'd try craigslist - at least then you can meet the seller and test the machine in a public place.

I'd advise against CL. Since posting my WTB's I've had nothing but spam and people who don't understand how to answer simple questions or take pictures. YMMV!

Ebay is also an option, but that has it's drawbacks. Once you reach 250 posts you gain entry to the B/S/T on these forums.

I wish there was a dedicated forum board for used Mac selling somewhere across the internet.

250 posts, but minimum six months too... hopefully I'll be rich by then and will be asking questions like, "which brandnew Macbook Pro should I buy?" as opposed to "where can I find a reliable used powerbook/Macbook for $300"
