So I have a 2010 mid summer MBP Core 2 Duo. I am looking to upgrade my storage space from the current 250mb. I want 750gb or 1tb, for under $200. What would y'all suggest?

If you really are set on HDD, then I'd go for this one:

Seagate Momentus XT ST750LX003 750GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache 2.5" SATA 6.0Gb/s Solid State Hybrid Drive -Bare Drive

I had one in my old Dell laptop for the past year and a half, no problem at all. Not the quietest drive though;)

I'll second that, although I had the older 500gb drive with smaller cache and small SSD portion. Definite performance boost, especially for boot up times after a couple of reboots, well worth it.
