Best media cataloging program - Portfolio or iView?

I am tired of iPhoto's limitations and weird way of cataloging my media, so I am ready to invest in something more powerful. The two applications I hear most often are iView and Portfolio. Does anyone use either of these, and can offer an opinion? My first impression is that iView looks a little Windows-ish, but I've heard great things about Portfolio.

Any suggestions/recommendations would be appreciated!
