Another vote here for Crucial. I have a 512meg sodimm in my 12'' rev. b powerbook.

Not to hijack the thread, but on a memory related note, does anybody know what speed memory iBook and Powerbooks take? Like PC2700, PC3200, etc., etc.

It depends on your model. Go to http://www.crucial.com , and they have a really simple configurator thing that will tell you. Start by choosing Apple in the drop-down box.

What do you all think is the best 512MB memory upgrade for a PowerBook G4? Input appreciated. Thanks!

crucial, OWC, or RAMJET (i have a 512 Dimm from Ramjet in my PB, and haven't any problems whatsoever-one of the apple employees actually recommended them). I have RAM from OWC in my G5.

Anyone have any tutorials on how to win these silly cookie games on crucial? I am sick of dynamic pricing!

Personally, I've done well with OWC, and their prices are usually less than Crucial. In addition, they also have a configurator, and no price cookie headaches (although if you join their mailing list, you will get access to their reader specials page, which often has $5-$10 off regular prices).
