To give you a little background, I have already purchased both the ACD 23" and the Dell 2408 and I was disappointed with both in different issues.
1. The ACD 23" has issues with color gradients and I need the monitor to be able to accurately display these gradients with no problems. However, this monitor was stunning and the colors seemed fairly accurate out of the box.
2. The Dell 2408 came out of the box with horrid colors. After many hours of trying to get it to calibrate, I gave up (even after using calibration software). It was almost cartoony with the color gamut.
I am looking for a 24" monitor that performs well in these too areas and has great text clarity. I will be using it photography and graphic design.
Does anyone have suggestions? Any advice is appreciated.
