Best mono multifunction w/ airprint (compact size please)

Can anyone suggest a good, compact B&W laser multifunction w/ wifi & airprint?

Since multifunction usually means a lot of functions (including a scanner), it would be difficult to find one that's "compact." What dimensions are you looking at, what your price range, etc.?

Well, I do realize it won't be as tiny as my current printer:

I don't want a giant office sized monster.

I love this printer:

Not exactly compact, but it's top rated: brother MFC-7860DW

It turns out you don't need "airprint" to print to a mac (only to an iphone/ipad). The driver setup was seamless and easy!

+1. While not the smallest, the Brother printers are great, and super cheap per page.

And coming here as a Windows 8 refugee, I remain totally amazed at how easy and seamless it was setting up a printer on my macbook. AMAZING!

I luv my mac !! GLAD win8 drove me to mac !!!
