While I'm looking to enhance my daily reading repertoire, I'm sure I could learn about an intellectually stimulating site or two to add from here. Right now, my go-tos are Gawker (they break eccentric news quickly), plus Gizmodo and Engadget for my tech addiction. I'll check Entrepreneur.com and The Verge every once in a while but I feel my selection is lacking.

You don't find it compelling to stay up to date with how much hate and bigotry there still is out there? I think it's important to stay informed.

Odd that you'd initially suggest that without any such qualifications.

But to answer your question, I find those beliefs so utterly repulsive to my being that I can not manage to do direct 'grassroots' research. I prefer to rely on people who do have such a stomach like the good folks at the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Great source for both wide-ranging and in-depth news, blogs, and podcasts covering national security, intelligence, and foreign policy.

(Yes, I know...the formatting could use some work. But the content makes it worthwhile.)
