Best NAS for Mac?

Hi

I want to get a NAS for back up and media streaming purposes and cannot decide which one is best?

The buffalo linkstation duo seems quite good

I have the Synology 211+ and have no complaints at all. Think I paid about £260 for it last December. There are two other 2 bay models which are cheaper though - 211 and 211j

I use it mainly for downloading, media streaming and backups

Time machine support
Software intuitive and easy to use
Airplay support
IOS apps
Software regularly updated with new features/improvements

Works well and plays nice with OSX. Time Capsule is Another good option.

I second this suggestion. I wrote a review about the Synology DS411j a couple months back. HERE is the link. The 411j is their 4-bay unit, but the 2-bay units mentioned above have the same software capabilities. The mobile apps and support are really excellent, and their UI is the best I've seen.
