Best NAS or DAS RAID setup for my media libary

Anyone have any good suggestions for a setup with 5 bays that would not be too hard to setup. Ive been looking at some Synology DS 1512 and QNAP TS-559 Pro II Turbo NAS setups but im not sure what to go with. Ive heard some horror story with Drobos so im to keen on those.
