I want to record myself talking while in the car, and I want to cancel out the background noise.

I've heard of software that could do this, either on the computer, or on the phone itself.

I also assume certain headsets might do this automatically.

Advice? I have to be able to use it in the car.

Headsets cancel out (reduce) background noise you are hearing but NOT what you are recording.
