All of my apple chargers tend to rip and expose the wiring within year and they’re quite pricy To replace.
Anyone got recommendations for a wire and power brick? Especially with BF coming.

Ideally would like a brick with multiple usb slots for my ipad pro along with my Pro max

Also, I’m interested in fast charging, but I’m also worried about battery Health which is also another reason why I tend to avoid non apple products Because of anecdotes I hear about them draining their batteries.

This could just be a common misconception Ive heard a lot about but would like to hear others views on it.

I basically only use 3rd party, ever since a genuine Apple cable melted and almost started a fire. Anker is one of the best 3rd party brands. They make quality MFI certified cables and reasonably priced charging blocks. Just don’t buy no name gas station chargers.

Everyone seems to recommend Anker. Thinking of finally replacing the ancient 5w with a 20w myself and will probably get an Anker.

Great to Hear Anker is getting love as I've been eyeing a few on amazon.

Oh and on a random tangent, but Does anyone know if the iPad Pro's (3rd Gen) USB C charger is the same as the 11 pro max fast charger? I ended up finding a deal for a Pro Max, but unfotunately it didn't come with a charger.

I’m using the 90W dual USB-C brick from RavPower.
It’s roughly the same size as Apple‘s 29w charger, comes in at around 60$ and is an absolute beast.

Have you experienced any problems with the high Wat charging on your phone?

Back when I had my iPhone 6, I loved the speedy charging via my iPad brick vs the typical 5W
Unfortunately, it basically deterioarted my battery to the point that it not only lagged, but would also randomly shut off at the start of any app.
