I dont like the standard notepad app on the ipod touch.

I'm looking to be able to adjust the font size. Type in different colors. And save my note as a word I want, not as the first sentence I write in the note.

If you know any good ones please name them. I dont care if they cost money

I like writeroom, plaintext, aNote / awesome note.

I know note master let's you do many things with the text and what not. You can add images, headings, lists, etc. It might be what you're looking for. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/notemaster-notes-images-synced/id297921531?mt=8

Notebook also allows you to use advanced text styling. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/notebook/id290089621?mt=8

Mobilenoter is another one. It's free. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mobilenoter/id330770551?mt=8

Those are what I can think of off the top of my head.

The one that I'm using and really enjoy is "Awesome Note". The interface is very polished, and there are regular updates as well. You can change the font size and typeface, but you can't change the color of the font.

You can create several folders (but not folders within folders), for instance I have a folder for my Daily journal, one for notes dealing with school, another folder for notes dealing with home, and another for shopping.

And you can create To-Dos in any of the folders if you'd like. I like the various backgrounds/themes that you can apply to individual notes.

And it also syncs to Google Docs or Evernote. I currently sync to GoogleDocs just to keep a backup of all of my notes.

And you can password protect the app as well, and the entire app can be used in landscape mode as well if you'd like.
