I currently have T-Mobile's old Simple Choice Unlimited plan, unlimited voice, texting and data. I pay about $94 per month (which includes my iPhone X monthly installments), but that is WITH a 'business family' discount.

Is there a better option out there for me? I know it's not a ton of money, but I feel like it's a rip off to pay almost a $100 a month for 1 line, especially considering it'd probably be $20 more without the discount I get.

I definitely need unlimited voice and preferably data as well.

Is your iPhone X paid off? Or is that included in the $92/mo?

The reason I ask is if it's included, assuming you pay $30 for the iPhone X, then that's a good deal.

As mentioned in my original post, that includes my iPhone X payment.

I guess it's not that bad considering I have the 256GB model.

If you’re solely looking at price T-Mobile and sprint has the beet prices with Sprint edging out T-mobile . Sprint is basically offering 3 plans basically depending on how you look at it as far I know but I haven’t checked recently so offers could be gone.

Offer one:
$15 a month for an unlimited plan which is basically like T-Mobile basic one plan which throttles video to 480p, music and games to certain speeds and a 23GB cap until limit

You need to switch and a new line of service with sprint

Offer 2:
$60 a month which is also unlimited and offers Hulu
1080p streaming and throttled music and games.
23GB limit as well

Offer 3: same as offer 2 but you need to switch ( not sure if still available ?)
Free for a year. Just pay taxes and fees.

I think you need to bring your phone for the free offer.

Sprint you can get an iPhone X for $20 a month for a 18 month lease if your start a new line.

T-mobile one is $70

All this is with autopay on

With sprint should you change it would be the same probably once you factor in taxes.

Sprint: $60
iPhone X: $20
Taxes and fees: around $10

$90 or so.

Sorry I somehow skipped that. I think it's a good deal, especially if you consider the price of an unlimited line with At&t or Verizon.

Do you have, or have access to, about a year's worth of billing statements? Where they report how much data you used?

What happened in my case, I was not using anywhere close to "unlimited": 1-3GB/mo typical, peaked at 6GB when on road trips. Since home has wifi, coffee shops have wifi, airport has wifi, et al, not burning through cell data. So, dumped my old UDP and switched to much lower priced pre-paid plan with rollover data (ATT, $40/mo for 8GB/mo data). Cut my bill by 55% and have a data bucket if I should exceed the plan's cap (doubtful) on a given month.

T-mo has, if I recall correctly, a 10GB/mo plan at $50/mo.

As Closingracer said, when looking at the cheap unlimited plans, most/all have caps on speed, streaming quality. To get the LTE speeds, will be spending around $90-95 when taxes and fees added and without any type of loyalty discount.

ADD: the Sprint $15/mo deal has ended. http://newsroom.sprint.com/sprints-15-unlimited-promotion-has-officially-ended.htm

Check out Cricket (owned by AT&T), MetroPCS (owned by T-Mobile), and Mint Mobile (uses T-Mobile towers, but not owned by T-Mobile). I’ve been on Cricket for awhile and love it.

I would go to Cricket before I did Sprint. Most important is that you get coverage where you are or travel. My friends T-Mo service still drops to zero in some place between Jacksonville and Atlanta.

The plans above cost an additional $20 due to line access fee making the $40 5GB plan cost $60.
[doublepost=1530085900][/doublepost]These are the unlimited plans with the cheapest being $80 and limited to tethering at 600k speed and the most expensive being $100 with tethering limited to 20GB of 4G LTE. All the unlimited plans do not charge an additional line access fee at least or the first line maybe more than that. Also the $80 plan could be subject to slower speeds during congestion but the $90 plan guarantees you 22GB at top speed before experiencing and congestion related slowdown and the $100 guarantees you 75GB at top speed prior to potential congestion related slowdowns.

[doublepost=1530086069][/doublepost]My cousins pay around $100 to AT&T for unlimited with the iPhone 8. As far as I know the monthly device cost is part of that.
