What are the best options for tethering your iPhone
to your MacBook Pro ?

Do you have to Jailbreak your iPhone to tether it ?

Best program for tethering is a program called pdanet, which can be found on cydia. This along with any of the tethering options requiers jailbreaking your iPhone. Only option that won't require you to jailbreak is the program called Netshare which was only on the app store for a few days before it was pulled.
