I was wondering if anybody's had first-hand experience with a really good orchestral VST for Mac -- either a VST plugin for Cubase, or an AU plugin for Logic? Mountain Lion compatibility would be perfect as well.
I always keep crawling back to my old Windows desktop
o) which has East West's Symphonic Orchestra, but I'd rather wave goodbye to that. I've used Macs for years, but haven't really used them as much for the purpose I bought them for -- a little depressing, so I just want to pull my finger out, make the plunge, and hopefully achieve a few of my ambitions.
So, yeah. I'm on a bit of a budget, but I'd love to splash out on something really decent. I'll also be exclusively using MIDI.
