Any ideas on which operating system (XP Home, Win 2K, etc.) runs the smoothest/fastest with virtual pc 6? Thanks. :)

win2k is probably going to be the best system to run for any computer. just turn off all unnecessary services and tweak your registry a bit. if i were you i would upgrade my RAM if you are going to be using VPC a good bit. You would probably want to give win2k 384MB of your RAM.

98

I find that 98 runs the fastest but I run 2000 for compatablilty reasons. 2000 works pretty good. I havent tried XP in a long time but man.. it was dam slow when It frist came out and I had VPC5. Compleetly unusable. Maybe Ill give it another try with VPC6.

I have a 867G4 with 1.25GB RAM,

I run windows 2000 with vpc and it runs well. XP seems to be sluggish but 2k runs good. 98 runs well too but i prefer win2k cause its a better operating system all the way around.
