Best OS X / iOS "cat pics" app?

No, I don't have cat pics - honest.

What I do have is a ton of stuff that I need for work and home - workflow diagrams, background images, stock pics etc - which I really don't want to wedge into Photos alongside all my, well, photos - I'd rather keep Photos exclusive to actual photographs.

Is there anything out there that would fit this need? At the moment I'm hacking it by storing this kind of thing tagged in Evernote, which is a bad solution for a whole number of reasons.

Cross-platform (OSX/IOS) would be the icing on the cake.

Any suggestions?

Take a look at Lightroom, which is a more feature rich alternative to Photos. you can then categorize, and organize all your images according to your needs.

You could use Documents, or iCloud Drive app.
