Found some old threads on this topic, but would like to ask about more current models. I want something with a doc feeder so I can scan multipage docs to PDF files, but would also like a unit where I can lift the lid and scan photos, etc. without running them thru the doc feeder. Also would like a unit with good printing quality. I don't need fax capability.
Does such a unit exist? Canon seems to be getting good feedback. I'm using OSX 10.4.11.
