Hi Everyone,

I have my iMac (that I love) but I'm saying goodbye for a Retina MBP.

I currently have a 500GB HD and have only used 50GB...I run my iTunes from a Buffalo Thunderbolt Drive and have about 750GB of music and movies on it. I back all those up on my MiniStack to make sure I have backups of everything.

I want to find the best personal cloud storage system that I can run my system on for my MBP since 1TB is the most I can get.

Personally - I'd like something I can use at home (not an online storage system) that I can connect to whenever I'm gone through WiFi.

This Kickstarter looks pretty cool - but I'm assuming there are better options.

Any help?

WD MyCloud is quirky and not well supported

I don't recommend.

----------

Look at Synology with ownCloud.org deployed.

I know it's crazy - but will they ever upgrade the MBP HD? 1TB is the max which really sucks.

You could take a look at qnap and synology. Qnap have a sync app, like a Dropbox app. I had a qnap but I think a synology have better apps.
