Best Photoshop alternative for iPhone? (compositing/layers, text, custom canvas size)

I’m putting together an "emergency kit” of apps I can use to make quick edits on web sites when a client needs something NOW, and all I have is my iPhone. Code changes and FTP uploads? Textastic: check! And it can import images from the camera roll so I can FTP them and use them in HTML.

Now all I need is an image editor, with at least the following:

* Ability to cut an image out from its background

* Layers for compositing multiple images

* Some basic level of text entry/layout ability

* Ability to work on a specific custom-set canvas size in pixels

ArtStudio is the lead candidate—ugly UI, but loooong feature list. Any other suggestions? (I wish Photoshop for iPad ran on iPhone!)
