The logic board on my 17" MBP went bad and I need to replace it. It's out of warranty and the genius bar told me it would cost me $450 to replace it. I'm pretty technical and do most of my own repairs so i'd rather fix it myself and save a few bucks, but I can't seem to find anywhere that will sell a logic board for less then it will cost me to fix it through apple.

Does anyone know of a good place besides ebay to buy logic boards?

Thanks

Pfft. Take the Apple Store deal. $450 to replace? The logic board is the "most expensive" thing in there and usually if you need to replace it, think of getting a new portable. I think logic boards go for $800+ so getting it for 450 is a friggin bargain!
