I have an upgrade available for Verizon in the US and want to upgrade. I didn't jump on the pre-order ship this time and regret it. Not looking to do Edge either.

What is the QUICKEST way I can get an iPhone 6 Plus Space Grey 64GB?

Looks like apple.com might be but I might be missing something. Thanks!

eBay

you snooze you lose. You can either pay for it or wait out like everyone else.

I knew I would get this response. I understand if I could go back in time I would. I just mean is apple.com really the quickest way to get one. I don't mind waiting the 3-4 weeks time I just was looking to see if maybe a certain store or something had them sooner.

Not looking to satisfy a scalper with the huge prices they ask.

Call around and let the hunt begin.

me and my wife went to a COR AT&T store where we started a line. we both scored (2) 128GB iPhone 6 Plus phones roughly 15 hours later.

Order from Apple and keep looking around locally.

Check the return bin at Best Buy next week. Dozens will be available.

Trouble is they'll all have horrible vibration issues and screen/animation lag.

Better just wait for the 6S+

Wait won't be much longer, and maybe it won't have a downscaling screen by then. Worst case I bet they'll change the vibrator. Yikes!

Source on this? And just ordered on apple.com. If I end up finding one locally I will cancel it then.

Do you know what would happen if I found one locally? Can I just cancel my Apple order?

Depends on where it is in the process - once it moves to "preparing for shipment" it can't be cancelled, but can be returned. And if buying one locally means there won't be room on your card for the other charge to go through, problem solved. They won't send it unless they get paid.

Check out the threads from users on the vibration.

Screen downscaling is a known issue because they went with a 1080p screen instead of 3x like developers code for. Thanks to that, everything has to be downscaled.

Even reviews that claim it "just works" STILL notice problems with it:

Next year it'll hopefully have a better vibrator and a non downscaling screen... Maybe it'll even get as good of a contrast ratio as the smaller model too.

I went by target the other day and was told they'd be holding the preorders for 48 hours - a similar policy is likely in place elsewhere. If you're cool with some investigative work, you can check to see if anyone failed to pick up their 6+ 48 hours from now
