I am looking at fonts to use for some commercial branding and website for my business

Is there a lot of differnce between free and paid for fonts.

Where can I get legit free fonts for desktop and website for commercial use?

What are some good paid for font sites?

As far as I understand it a desktop licence is needed for business cards / printing etc and a web licence for websites? The web licences seem to be based on traffic?

Here is a link to a list of places to look for free fonts. Two place I use the most are Font Squirrel & dafont.com. They have a pretty good selection of fonts.

Most of my fonts are purchased as I use them for commercial use.

Here is a link & link to some pretty good articles explaining the differences between free and licensed fonts. There can some big differences.
