best place to get snow leopard?

i kind of want snow leopard for java 6 and also for future-proofing games. i currently have leopard 10.5.8

where is the best place to get snow leopard?

amazon has it for $25 with no tax and free shipping. or can any old/used copy of snow leopard work? so maybe i should try to get one off of ebay/craigslist for cheaper?
