My wife and I both need new phones. Currently I have a 6+ and she has a 6. Both were launch day and are over 3 years old. We are still on AT&T’s older subsidized contracts with unlimited data so will obviously have to change contracts and drop the carrier fees that used to come on the subsidized plans. I’ll definitey be getting the X and she wants to see both phones before she makes a decision. I’m trying to decide between AT&T, Apple and Best Buy to go to.

My question is two parts. Who is best to handle setting up the new contract? Like I said, we’re still on a very old plan and will likely go with AT&T’s monthly payment plan.

Secondly, who of those three has the best incentives right now? I know Best Buy is doing a $250 gift card with qualifying trade in but the you can’t access the details online so I don’t realky know what all that entails and whether or not it’s teally worth it, considering we own our phones outright at this point.

Thanks in advance.

If you’re open, I would look at T-Mobile. They’ll give you up to $300 each for your phones. I don’t know how T-Mobile’s service is in your area but if you’re looking for deals they’re always the best. AT&T is offering nothing.

Thanks for the reply. I talked with two of my coworkers who have iPhones on T-Mobile and they hate their coverage. I’ve been pretty happy with AT&T. Would possibly consider switching to Verizon though.
