I've been looking into picking up a kit to drop my current Hard Disk Drive into the ODD location and pick up a new SSD. There's several kits floating around on the net and I was wondering if anyone has any opinions as to which ones are good and which ones I should pass up on. Here's a couple I've found with just a quick search.

MCE: $100 http://store.mcetech.com/Merchant2/...t_Code=OBSXGB-UNB&Category_Code=STORHDOPTIBAY

Powerbook Medic: $59 http://www.powerbookmedic.com/DualDrive-500GB----Add-a-Second-Hard-Drive-to-your-Laptop-p-17257.html

Lots of posts on this already.

This is what I bought and recently installed, works flawlessly:

Nice and sturdy with screw holes in all the right places. Many of the other caddies don't have the correct screw hole positions. They also include all the tools you need (4 screwdrivers, screws, and the nylon prybar). And a nice color instruction booklet as well.

The only minus is they don't sell an enclosure for your ODD if you need one.
