I sold my 42mm SG sport for 245$ on the bay yesterday, I thought that was a pretty decent price and had a 50% off sale fees coupon.. so it didn't hit me on the fees side of the equation.

Please, don't sell your AW1. Give it to a poor friend or a neighbor in need.

Don't be a cheep scale. Not sexy.

I assume you mean "cheapskate," but why should any human donate a piece of electronics to someone else? I mean, really... I spent 599 dollars on my original AW1 and I fail to see how it makes me a "cheep scale" if I sell it for 200 dollars to help finance the purchase of an AW2. I'm sure Apple would rather I do that than just not buy a new AW at all.

Trashing other people and calling them CHEAP isn't sexy either.

I'm partial to Craigslist. Meet at an Apple Store. Done and done for me.

With the series one revision and price drop I recommend moving along with selling now if you're concerned about your return.

If I do sell one or both of mine, I will use the local craigslist-style site.

If you donate, you are a good men!

Give it to Goodwill. The used value exceeds the cost of running a craigslist ad. It probably has more value as a tax write-off.

Actually, you can get a pretty good amount trading it in at Best Buy for store credit. I think a SS model right now will get around 150 bucks. Just an idea. Tax writeoffs aren't really that great for small, inexpensive (relatively) items. And, if someone does not itemize, then it's useless.

We sold my wife's Rose Gold 38mm (with 3rd party "sport band") to Best Buy last week for $150. Even had a scratch on the screen lol. Kept the charger for myself too.

The pink text was meant to indicate humor. Though, I am curious what used values are now. A week ago, you could get a new 42mm AW Sport for around $300 IIRC. Now, a new Series 1 is $300 from Apple. The Series 1 is superior to our watches, and folks will remember that the prices dropped over time. So, I bet that a best case scenario is $150 used for an original AW sport after the release of the new watches, and $100 is more likely.

Think I'll do that
