Bought a few short months ago from John Lewis with their 2 year guarantee.
It just isn't for me...I find it too big to be truly portable, so it's going to go.

So....anyone advise on the best place to sell it on to achieve the maximum return please ?

Sold mine on eBay for a good price right before the new iPad came out. Probably get more on craigslist though.

Thanks for the replies. Would much prefer face to face, so I'll look into craiglist.
Doesn't seem to be so popular up here in North East England though !

I say Craigslist. Meet face-to-face in a public place, bring a friend, and only accept cash.

To maximize your profit ucfgrad93 offers the best advice/solution. No eBay fees involved. The only other option I would consider would be to a friend or relative if there is one in need of a new iPad.

Depends where you live. Here in Fairbanks alaska craigslist is good for buyers and bad for sellers. It's a small city. I paid $350 for my iPad 3 with BT keyboard case, I paid $160 for a week old iPod touch 4th gen 64gb. So it depends where you live. I sell all these things on Craigslist and pull a profit of 60 - 140 bucks.

I forgot to mention that i've been hearing more and more about Angie's List. I've never tried it but that's another option.
