Anybody know where to get the best return on your investment? I've not even had my Nike series 3 with cellular for a year. Also has apple care.. I'll be damned if I'll let it go for 180 that most sites I see are offering, but I kinda want the series 4..

Swappa. Its way more tech orientated. I would avoid ebay personally.

Best place is with someone you know - friend or coworker. Then you don't have the deal with scammers and thieves.

I just sold my series 2 on Offer Up. When I sell stuff I usually post it on both Offer Up and Let Go.

Agree, E-bay charges 10%, and Paypal something around 7%. Swappa charges a flat $15 fee that is passed on to the buyer.

I agree that Swappa is the way to go and the fees are way better, but let's not act like the buyer is paying them. That is marketing BS. You set the price and they advertise it $15 higher.

OP eBay is showing that you should be closer to $300. Swappa is more difficult to gauge price since they don't show completed sales (at least I have never seen a way to find them) and instead have a generic graph that includes all Series 3 prices (including SS and Ceramic). I would venture that you could net in the neighborhood of $250 after shipping and fees on either site. So you have to figure out if $70 is worth the extra little bit of work, hassle, and waiting involved in using Swappa or eBay.

I get the itch for a Series 4 after you see them but you don’t really know much at all yet except for the expected screen increase and some leaked info. But that doesn’t even tell you any hardware reasons to consider upgrading. And a Nike Series 3 isn’t Stainless so I don’t see a huge resale.

I agree, sure, I'm always "wanting" the newest anything, especially if it beeps, blinks, or goes buzz. However, since my Series 3 is Stainless, the decision to upgrade is totally dependent on what actual hardware improvements there's going to be, as the software will probably migrate to my less than a year old watch.

I’m looking to upgrade this year. But I have the original Apple Watch in Stainless. I think also called the Series 0. It’s gotten a bit slow. Still has some resale but not a lot.
