I'm looking to get an original iPad 1 for my Dad.

All he needs is a 16 GB WiFi. Are there any retailers selling them now for $300-350 new?

You may get lucky if you check your local Verizon corporate store. Last week they lowered their price to $299 for the 16, $399 for the 32 and $499 for the 64.
