I would like to know what experience people have had with Point and Shoot GPS-enabled cameras importing to iPhoto. In particular, compatibility of time and geo-tagging of photos and importing into iPhoto and/or Aperture 3.
Example cameras: Nikon P6000, Panasonic LUMIX DMC-ZS7, Sony DSC-HX5V, Samsung HZ Series HZ35W. Right now I have an iPhone and an Olympus FE-350, and, what I would like is something with the picture quality of the Olympus, but, with time/geo-tagging (as in the iPhone).

I would like to know this too. In particular, the Samsung HZ35W (or European equivalent). Can iPhoto detect the geotagging or do you have to fire up the appropriate Windows software on a virtual machine etc... I hope not!:p
