Best is subjective. What are your needs?

I prefer a 15" laptop and that being the case, for me the MBP is the best portable machine.

What do you mean MBP with a dongle, what sort of dongle are you envisioning with the MBP.. I can understand the need for a dongle with the new MacBook but not the current MBPs

Depends heavily on your capability needs. RMBP is better price/performance.

Unless portability is your absolute priority the 13" MBPr is a clear winner by a fair margin; performance, battery life, ports & storage. The new Retina Macbook in it`s current form is rather compromised, 13" MBPr is presently a far more balanced Notebook.

I chose the Pro, the extra weight doesn't bother me.

Though the new mackbook is quite cool, i would go with the Pro as well. Also the larger screen would be preferable in my opinion.

I suspect the OP means the external adapter to add more USB-C connections and other ports.
