Apologies in advance if this post is sort of all over the place.

I ordered the new 13" MBP. This is my first USB-C computer so I don't know much about the accessory world. I'd like to get a dock that will give me access to everything with one plug (charging, keyboard, mouse, monitor, hard drive). An SSD slot would be nice too. I'm hoping for easy swapping between my personal and work laptops. Are there any particularly good ones that I should look out for? Bonus points if they're space grey or otherwise look good next to the Mac. What about stands?

I only got a 1TB hard drive on the laptop and I'm not sure if that will be enough for my photo & video library. Any tips on moving the Photos library to an external SSD and making that the default for imports? Is there anything special I need to look for in an SSD that will get heavy usage? Will I need to eject the SSD first every time I want to unplug from the dock?

I ended up ordering the Caldigit TS3 hub and a Samsung T5 SSD. Hopefully those two will combo well with my new laptop.
