So, I have two iCloud-accounts with iCloud Photo libraries. We can call them iCloud A and iCloud B. My old one is iCloud A and today I use iCloud B.

What's the best practice to merge these two Photo libraries?

I have iCloud A downloaded locally (around 800 GB) and thinking of simply logging out of iCloud A and choose to keep my files, and then login to iCloud B hoping it will then merge those two Photo libraries. For iCloud B I will also choose the setting Optimise Mac Storage and therefore hoping that Photo will only download thumbnails for iCloud B and to upload the local iCloud A library.

Will this work, and/or is there another way to do this? Thanks!
