So I was able to sell my current iPad mini so I can move to the newer Retina model. Why am I upgrading in the middle of the release cycle? Because I always have good luck buying new devices halfway through their release cycle. Ones I have bought in this time period, 4-7 months after release never give me problems, so here I am.

Basically what I'm looking for is a deal on the Retina mini. Last year I bought my iPad mini at Best Buy for $500 (price match) plus a $30 gift card. Is there anyone running a special where I can get a 64GB mini for $500 plus tax? That's about how much I can afford and that's $9 less then Apple's refurb price.

I know Best Buy is holding a one day sale for Easter which is $30 off, but I'm hoping so save a little more.

Thank you!

Apple is selling refurbs of the retina mini for $509 plus tax for the 64GB versions. Not aware of any new sales, but Best Buy was doing some promotions over this weekend on iPads.
