I'm looking at upgrading my RAM to 8GB via Amazon, but it's hard to distinguish which product is best.

This will be for a late 2011 15" MBP with 2.4Ghz quad-core i7:

Crucial PC3-8500
Crucial PC3-10600
Kingston
Corsair

Any input? Are they all essentially the same?

Thanks!

get the second crucial one. tons of people use crucial from these forums, they are all very happy, as far as I know.

They are not al the same. The first and third link are 1066MHz, the second and fourth are 1333MHz. You wouldn't really notice the difference but get the 1333MHz. You would get slightly better performance when using the Intel Graphics card if you have quicker RAM. Anyway you have 1333MHz in your MBP so get the same speed.

Would the same RAM be fine in a 2009 2.4 c2d mbp?

I want to go for the 1333 as i will be buying a new mbp soon and will switch the RAM over.

I have 4 gb of 1333 mhz Crucial ram in my 2009 C2D MBP and works fine. I am almost certain the computer came with 1333 mhz ram, but not at home to check.
