Best RAM for Aluminum Powerbook G4 1.5ghz?

Bought 1 gig Crucial & it wouldn't recognize in my computer, tho the comp. doesn't fall within the serial # range of the defective models.

Can anyone recommend a good 1 gig RAM to get for the comp? Right now I'm still just running 512MB & it crawls.

I did, and no luck. Even had a friend with a PC that took the same sort of RAM and it wouldn't recognize - my guess is it was a faulty module. However, all of the 1-star reviews on newegg were from 1.5ghz powerbook owners (should have looked at those before I ordered) with the same problems.
