Hi,
Anyone has a great experience with leather case for iPhone X?

I am waiting for Apple leather case and Apple leather folio wallet, plus south twelve book case

The only thing is that many of those cases are not actually leather made from the skin of an animal. They are getting loose with the "leather" term, and occasionally use the "PU Leather" term, which is Poly Urethane, a plastic. But a lot of the cases listed on Amazon as leather, are the PU leather instead. Usually you can tell with the price. Real leather is rarely on the cheap cases. I even saw one use a material called "Real PU Leather" so that when you searched for "real leather" it popped up.

I think there needs to be a term "real animal skin" to help differentiate. That might inhibit sales somewhat though.

I think Apple leather cases are great. Always had a good experiences with them. Also have tried Sena, but prefer Apple as they are skinnier.

ordered one (non-wallet). hope it’s better than the apple ones...apple ones fray and don’t wear well in my experience.

I've had Vaja case for an iPhone and iPad. I find that the corners split if you should drop it, exposing the white subcase. When I wrote them about it, they said it was designed that way for shock absorbing.

I went with an Apple leather case for my 7plus and I don't have that problem. For the cost, the Vaja was disappointing.

I had a black leather folio case from Apple - didn't like it & they refunded me. I bought the black leather Apple case and it it is thinner and doesn't impede the microphone on bottom of IPX. I like how it feels in my hand, looks great, camera cut out fits perfectly and it seems to be of high quality. I really like it. I found I did not like the folio case as it impeded taking pictures and seemed unwieldy (just was not for me).

I went with the Apple leather one as well. I like it because if the sleek and minimalist design.
It’s slippery out of the box but the more I’ve used it the more I like it. Had a nice feel and grip, not flimsy. It’s a great case and one I’ll keep. I had the saddle brown on my iPhone 6s Plus and that case is more beautiful as it ages.

Can anyone recommend a real leather case (non-folio) in black that covers the phone on all four sides? So far have only found the Mous case (a little bulky for me) and the Burkley 360 case (and they seem to have some troubles with wireless charging capabilities). Thanks!

But maybe I'm overthinking it--do I even need bottom side protection for very occasional drops from waist height?

anybody get one of the new Sena cases with the metal buttons? They look better than apple's leather for about the same price, and they claim to be "drop safe" so will probably protect better than the apple case. I plan on getting one but would really like to hear a real world review first.

I have the Sena Corsa II. Hands down the best case I've ever owned. Nice to hold, good grip. Feels high quality in my hands. I've never tried the Apple case, but I love the Sena case. Worth the $40.

Exactly my experience with the Vaja case. Apple leather case seems to hold better. Also the Vaja case was a bit bulkier.
