I just purchased a wireless apple keyboard and wireless mighty mouse and I got to thinking about rechargeable batteries.

What brand, type (nickel-metal hydride/lithium/etc.), and MAh does everyone use?

Energizer nickel metal hydride, 2500 mAh. They work well in my Nikon Coolpix as well.

Sanyo.

Most reliable cells around

I've got some 1Ah NiCd cells used in a radio transmitter, they get the odd slow charge, but more often that not they get fast charged, their well over 2 years old and are still very close to full capacity

I've had a few of the supermarket cells, energizers etc. i rarely get the full 2.5Ah in, more often than not they peak at around 1.9Ah from flat, and i'm lucky if they last more than 30 cycles.

Saft used to do some pretty good cells too, not sure about these days though
