Best remote app for ipad

What is the best remote control app for the ipad?

I would like to manage my imac via the ipad

Ive heard iTeleport is quite good

Any others worth it ?

Also does any software need installing on the OSX to make this work or is it native

I have Splashtop remote and it works very well for my needs. you do need to install software on your iMac for it to work, but all of the remote apps need software on the Mac/PC to work.

what do you mean by manage?
If you are managing your iTunes library; remote is good.

OSX has a built in VNC Server(two actually) just need to enable it it in preference. So iteleport(VNC) OR Jump (VNC/RDP) will work
