Yep. Just got logmein. Very happy with it. 29.99$

I don't know if it will be quick enough for games though

I found...

Splashtop is the great for home use over wifi
if you want to use flash or if your machine does not have RDP.

When I dont need flash I use Wyse Pocketcloud for access via RDP.
Best feature is it offers a virtual mouse that is very useful for clicking when touch is not accurate enough.

I'm surprised all remote apps don't have a similar control.

I have not tried either over 3G.

THANKS all for the info! I guess my last question is whats the easiest to setup?

Teamviewer is GREAT and easy to setup its just missing some features (I am not complaining since the price is right) but I want other features and easy setup.

thanks!

I have a few different desktop apps. I prefer Jump Desktop.

I usually VPN into my home network and it works great. On occasion I also VPN in with my phone and use the Mobile Mouse app so my phone operates as a trackpad.

I use CrazyRemote it works amazing (play games watch movies etc), has SOUND and it's easy to setup for use over 3G or Edge. Costs about 20 bucks but worth it.

I have been using Splashtop as well and it works great, can't beat it for $4.99 IMO. Works with flash and sound. Display changes to the iPads resolution by default so the whole desktop fit nicely on the screen. I have it working over 3G as well.

THANKS again all for all the responses and info!!

I am being cheap and want to spend the least. $4.99 sounds like it and splashtop might be it too...

is it easy to setup?

THANKS!!

Over wifi on the same network it's as easy as installing the app on the iPad and on the computer. Over 3G may be a little more work but I believe they provide directions for you.

I second this. Splashtop just seems to work best, and is well-integrated with Flash and other video streams. It's just plain easy to use and never gets in the way of what you want.

Thanks ALL! I am have been looking into all of them!! I am using a lite version of Splashtop right now its really good...

Anyone know:

how do allow myself access to my computer even when the screen saver goes on? it seems to kill accessibility? it works sometimes. BUT really what I want is my desktop screen to stay locked while I am using splashtop from my ipad2. is this possible? (i am using it on a mac but if it will work i will use it with my pc instead) I want pc to stay locked always. especially if i can get it to work over 3g.

i am having problems dragging the mouse cursor around the screen is that the way to use it or just tap where you want to click? i keep messing up moving windows and selecting text when i just want to click on content or a certain part of the screen.

THANKS for any help!!!
